			  The entire Noble Qur’an memorization branch represented the first of the competition branches in the year 1993 and is a strong incentive to compete in memorizing the Noble Book of Allah with the participation of multiple nationalities and with different narrations, the Entire Noble Qur’an branch has been developed in its twenty-first session in form and content by dividing it into three categories:
1.	Citizens’ category (males and females): they are tested in memorizing the entire Noble Qur’an, tarteel and tajweed.
2.	The category of special memorizers (male and female) among residents (imams and mueththins (callers of Athan), teachers of the Noble Qur’an, well-known reciters, those who have previously won the competition, or won any international competition): they are tested in memorizing the entire Noble Qur’an into, tarteel and tajweed, while memorizing the meanings of words of The Noble Qur’an for Juz Tabarak through the book “As-Siraj fi Bayan Ghareeb Al-Quran” authored by Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Khudairi.
3.	The category of general memorizers (males and females) of residents (who do not meet the special memorizers’ conditions): they are tested in memorizing the entire Noble Qur’an, tarteel and tajweed. 
    

  

  

    

      
    

    

5juz’,  10juz’,  15juz’ , 20juz’,  25juz’ 
This branch was designated by Sheikh Jassim's competition for citizens (male and female) of all ages to encourage them to gradually memorize and master the Noble Qur’an and to achieve good performance of the correct recitation, through strong questions, and the promotion of competition among Qatari reciters to participate in international Quranic competitions and contribute to the graduation of the desired Qatari Quranic generation.
This branch is divided into five categories:
- Memorizing the first or last five juz’ of the Noble Qur’an, tarteel and tajweed.
- Memorizing the first or last 10 Juz’ of the Noble Qur’an, tarteel and tajweed.
- Memorizing the first or last 15 Juz’ of the Noble Qur’an, tarteel and tajweed
- Memorizing the first or last 20 Juz’ of the Noble Qur’an, tarteel and tajweed
- Memorizing the first or last 25 Juz’ of the Noble Qur’an, tarteel and tajweed 

  

  

    

      
    

    

       Within the framework of its keenness to prepare a distinguished Quranic generation, the competition paid attention to our young children, as they are the first plant and the first building block of society, so it established a branch for young children (males and females) that allows citizens of twelve (12) years and younger, and residents from the age of eight (8) and younger to participate in one of the last five Juz’ of the Noble Qur’an.
The Young Children’s branch aims to enhance the capabilities of young boys and girls to memorize the verses of Allah, and to develop the spirit of competition among them in a way that benefits them in this world and the Hereafter.
    

  

  

    

      
    

    

      A branch of institutions, bodies and the private sector has been created for Sheikh Jassim bin Muhammad bin Thani Noble Quran competition after the legislative change in the competition under Ministerial Resolution No. 24 of 2013, which expanded the scope of its activities to include everything related to the Noble Quran and its sciences.
Sheikh Jassim Quranic competition, with its openness to all segments of society, constitutes a fragrant breath of faith and a qualitative leap in the field of Quranic competitions.

Several branches fall under this main branch, including:
- New converts: a branch launched by Sheikh Jassim's competition for the participation of new converts from different communities residing in Qatar in the competition whose conversion to Islam did not exceed three years, with the aim of teaching them the Book of Allah, endearing it to them, linking them to its etiquette and rulings, and consolidating the true concept of Islam in their hearts, thus adding a new concept to Quranic competitions through the consolidation of the Noble Qur’an, the strengthening of the values of Islam in the hearts of the new converts, and the development of the values of human acquaintance in Qatar and abroad. The branch includes three levels, starting with memorizing Surat Al-Fatihah and the shortest chapters and ending with memorizing complete Juz’ Amma, in which contestants of different nationalities participate every year.
Gharrid lil Quran (Tweet for the Qur’an): a competition to tweet the virtues of the Noble Book of Allah, urging adherence to its rulings, prohibitions, and eternal human values in a refined and attractive manner, according to specific technical conditions, that endears everyone who follows it to adhere to the Qur’an and its noble verses. The “Tweet for the Qur’an” branch inside Qatar came as an innovative Quranic competition, in continuation of the process of development, and the keenness of the organizing committee of Sheikh Jassim competition to involve the various segments of society in the competition.
 Rattil Wa Arsil (Recite and Send): An innovative Quranic competition in reciting verses from the Noble Book of Allah on WhatsApp, by recording a short video clip of Quranic recitation, endearing everyone who participates in it to be attached to the Noble Quran and its eternal values. The competition, which was made available to young children of both sexes from the age of five to twelve, aims to raise the spirit of beautiful competition among young people, and develop their attachment to the Noble Book of Allah, by making use of modern technology and social media, to serve the teaching of the Book of Allah and open broad horizons for wide participation from boys and girls. 
    

  

  

    

      
    

    

      The Organizing Committee was keen on extending the noble message of the competition in the dissemination and teaching of the Noble Qur’an to Muslims who do not speak the Arabic language, so it launched a branch for non-Arabic speakers, directed to the two categories of students and teachers, so that the competition contributes to strengthening the relationship of Muslims with the Book of Allah, in recitation, contemplation, and memorization, preserving thus their Islamic identity, and strengthening the Arabic language in them, as well as strengthening brotherhood ties and the values of solidarity, tolerance, peace, and humanity, which are derived from the teachings of Islam, and the two categories are:
- Students’ category: the competition focuses on teaching them the shortest surahs of the Noble Qur’an, in recitation, reflection, and memorization, as well as teaching them the basics of the Islamic faith, noble religious values, and the purified Sunnah of the Prophet within the framework of a comprehensive Islamic curriculum that takes into account the level of participating students and the nature of the countries to which they belong.
 - Quran teachers’ category: The competition in Doha will host (not periodically) a group of Noble Qur’an teachers from outside Qatar to train them in managing Quranic episodes and using educational methods and skills for Quran memorization and enhancing their abilities in mastering the rules of tajweed, correcting recitation and Quran contemplation skills, so that the competition embodies the highest forms of cooperation between Muslims, and emphasizes its lofty message in serving the Book of Allah and its memorizers. 
    

  

  

    

      
    

    

     An international branch was launched by Sheikh Jassim bin Muhammad bin Thani Noble Quran Competition in its first edition in 2016, in line with the message of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in caring for the Book of Allah and honoring its people, and thus to be unique globally with the participation of the winners of the first place in all international Quranic competitions, and the competition in the most honorable and noble sciences, which is the Noble Qur’an, and thus obtaining the title of “First of the First”. The competition for this branch is held every three years.
The following are required to participate in this branch:
- The contestant must have won the first place in an international competition, or (semi-international if the organizing committee approves) or the Sheikh Jassim bin Muhammad bin Thani competition, Entire Quran Memorization Branch, during the last three years preceding the year in which the competition is held.
- To provide proof of first place.
-	He must not have previously won in the same branch.
